Our goal is to educate and empower parents so they can better understand how to create a long-term healing environment for their children.LEAF, a program of Parents In Training INC, was created to provide an intensive trauma-responsive, love-based wraparound services program for at-risk adoptive families in California. Our mission is to reduce the parents’ stress while teaching them how to be therapeutically available to their children. In this manner, we engage the entire family unit in the healing process. We believe healing happens inside the home throughout the diverse network of hidden communication patterns in the various family relationships.

The Parent Educator will act as a member of the Family Care Team (FCT) and is responsible for supporting and guiding parents through a dynamic process of education. The Parent Educator is also responsible for collaborating with the Family Support Coaches in the family homes to promote a productive learning and practicing environment for the parents. Parent Educator (PE) reports directly to the Trauma Support Specialist.

The Trauma Support Specialist will provide therapeutic guidance to families in our program, Family Support Coaches, Respite Providers, Parent Education and Support Coordinators and supportive services.
Redding | Roseville | Crescent City
The Family Support Coach will provide a safe environment for parents and children to strengthen their emotional connection. Also, identify and address areas of concern for both parents and children in a nurturing manner.
Sacramento | California
Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer, the Business Development Officer will establish relationships with post-adoption entities, county social service departments, state adoption agencies and departments and other referral sources at the state and local levels as directed by the CMO. The Business Development Officer will work with Area Managers, Assistant Area Managers and Wrap Care Coordinators to implement the business strategy approved for that County regarding Client Acquisition. The Business Development Officer is responsible for bringing awareness of the From Fear to Love approach to appropriate entities in the marketplace.

It’s empowering, it’s been a blessing and a great journey. I love to see the growth from its inception and see how much we have done, it’s impressive.
